Event Description: 150. 2D Studio: Acrylic Painting Lennon Michalski—Here is a great opportunity to practice abstract painting techniques with acclaimed artist Lennon Michalski! Through demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, critiques, and independent exploration, you can expect to develop skills and confidence in acrylic painting. Possible demonstrations include: color-mixing, underpainting, glazing, wet-into-wet painting, and impasto. In addition to these techniques, students may explore composition and subject matter while learning to break reality down into geometric shapes and patterns, and to tell a story through symbols and mark-making rather than identifiable objects or figures.
