Commerce Lexington is proud to announce that Brett Bibb, director of marketing, was named to the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives' (ACCE) 40 Under 40 list, which showcases 40 of the chamber industry's top emerging leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve. Their creativity, dedication and commitment to identifying innovative solutions will help shape the future of the chamber profession.

In his role, Brett is a catalytic leader, driving marketing and communication innovation within the chamber and sharing the organization’s “Impact story” with key stakeholders, elevating the chamber’s brand and value proposition to investors. He has also created more efficiency within the organization, leveraging a variety of resources to maximize marketing efforts, while educating staff members on ways to better promote themselves and the organization using social media and other digital platforms.

Commerce Lexington President & CEO, Bob Quick, said, “Brett has been instrumental in enhancing our organization and increasing our visibility through heightened marketing initiatives. Most notably, he created communications assets for the ongoing Regional Competitiveness Plan, a collaborative effort that includes public and private sector leaders across nine counties working to increase jobs and talent in Greater Lexington. We greatly appreciate Brett’s efforts and congratulate him for this national recognition.”

"Being recognized as one of ACCE’s 40 Under 40 is an incredible honor,” said Brett Bibb. “I’m grateful to work alongside such a talented team at Commerce Lexington and to serve a community that inspires me every day."

Brett continues to give back to his community. He is co-founder and vice president of the DiverCity Festival, which has been instrumental in celebrating the cultural diversity of Lexington. He served as a two-time chair of the EMERGE Conference for emerging leaders and is a board member of CHOICE, Inc. in Louisville, which provides educational, youth-specific experiences in a safe environment.
