The event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 501 De Roode Street, provides free professional services for individuals re-entering the workforce including workforce-ready clothing, onsite haircuts and styling, networking opportunities, and a hot lunch prepared onsite by the Lexington Police Department Grill Team. Look Good • Feel Good Lexington is a Leadership Lexington (Commerce Lexington) Class of 2025 project. So far, over 110 job seekers have registered to attend the event, taking advantage of the wide range of services provided to help them make a strong first impression in their job search.
“This event is all about helping people feel confident and prepared,” said Leadership Lexington participant and co-organizer Sydney DeLong. “Whether someone needs an outfit for an interview, a fresh haircut, or face time with a potential employer, Look Good • Feel Good is here to offer support, encouragement, and real opportunities.” This event is free to attend, and advance registration is encouraged.
