The mobile market opens the opportunity for local shoppers to buy their groceries in several Lexington neighborhoods where finding fresh food can be challenging. Two partners will be working together weekly: the food will be stocked by The Kroger Co. and operated by God’s Pantry. How Expanded Gaming Has Impacted the State and Local Economy
While Kentucky was late to the game in expanded gaming, especially compared to our neighboring states, since the introduction of Historical Horse Racing in 2011, expansion has occurred at a steady pace. And with that expansion has come an economic impact on our state and local economy that could have never been foreseen. With a little history as background, this session will examine the impact of historical horse racing and begin to touch on sports wagering and its impact on the state.
