On July 22–24, 2026, 80 regional business and community leaders from the Lexington and Louisville regions will travel to the nation’s capital for the annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In co-presented by BrightSpring Health Services and Columbia Gas of Kentucky. The experience begins with an opening reception on Wednesday followed by a full day of programming on Thursday. The Fly-In concludes with morning meetings on Friday. Greater LEX leaders will collaborate with business and civic leaders from One Louisville for select meetings and engagements, amplifying our collective voice, strengthening statewide partnerships, and increasing our impact in Washington.
During the three-day visit, participants will engage in advocacy, connection, and influence at the federal level. The Fly-In brings together regional decision-makers for face-to-face interactions with policy experts, Kentucky’s Congressional Delegation, and Administration officials to champion policies and investments that advance regional economic competitiveness. Participants serve as policy ambassadors—representing key industries, strengthening relationships, and helping shape a stronger business climate for their respective regions. |
