In normal times, everyone is well aware of the impact of social media, but during a crisis, it becomes even more effective as a way to get information out quickly. Be sure to stay connected and engaged with Commerce Lexington's social media accounts, including our nearly 4,000-person FACEBOOK group, a LINKED-IN group with about 1,200 people, on INSTAGRAM where nearly 1,900 people follow CLEX, and our TWITTER account followed by nearly 11,900 people. Just over this last month alone, the engagement within our Facebook group has increased by a whopping 352%.

In an effort to evolve with the new “ever-changing” business landscape, Commerce Lexington introduces the 4 O’Clock Focus. Join local business and community leaders twice monthly as we prepare to re-open small businesses over the next few weeks and months. Each event, we’ll share best practices and lessons learned from businesses who are constantly re engineering in order to make sure their business model remains relevant and competitive. One of Commerce Lexington’s most effective business assistance efforts is the Business Owners Advisory Board (BOAB). These groups allow member business owners to share similar challenges, strategies, and best practices in a confidential, non-competitive environment.
