Sayre Christian Village
"Being part of Commerce Lexington during a crisis has been like having additional staff on hand. As a nonprofit that has to account for every dime spent, we are seeing great value out of our membership. We have benefited from the jobs board when we needed to get the word out quickly that we were hiring. The social media group has been so helpful to be able to get in front of like-minded businesses and organizations. We had a particularly trying weekend with lots of red-tape and needed legislative help navigating the new guidelines. Commerce Lexington staff caught wind and reached out to US. Within hours, there were emails flying back and forth with multiple powers-that-be in D.C. ready to hop on a call and help."
"In addition, I don’t think you can say enough about the bonds that you form when you join a group like Leadership Central Kentucky. If you have a chance to apply for Leadership Lexington or Leadership Central Kentucky, DO IT. Never in my life would I have thought we’d be getting such a real world example of how regionalism is so important to our organizations when I joined the group in August. The pandemic doesn’t stop at the Fayette County line, and the battle for prevention of COVID-19 won’t be handled by Frankfort alone. We are all working across county lines. Sayre Christian Village has had aid come in from all over the region. When you join these groups, your own organization has a leg up due to the connections you have made and the camaraderie that you have built. We are grateful for Commerce Lexington! "

"It is very important for me to be a member of Commerce Lexington, especially during these challenging times. Its leadership during this time of crisis has been so helpful to me as a business owner. There is a lot of information floating around about what is available and what you should be doing, but Commerce Lexington is my one source for correct information. And, when I run into conflicting information, I send one email, and their team reaches out to the right people to get me the answer I need. The newsletter is a must-read and always contains information that is helpful to me in making the million decisions I have to make each day. The money you spend to be a member of Commerce Lexington is returned to you a hundredfold with all the support they provide. Commerce Lexington is a true partner to me and my business."
